By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure a clear understanding of our policies.

1. General Information

• All grooming services are by appointment only. Walk-ins are not accepted.

• Dogs must be collected at the agreed time unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in advance.

• While every effort is made to ensure your dog has a pleasant experience, the welfare and safety of your pet are our highest priority.
   

2. Health and Behaviour

• All dogs must be up to date on their vaccinations,  you must bring the vaccination card with you on your first appointment.

• Please inform us of any health conditions, allergies, injuries, or behavioural issues your dog may have before their appointment.

• Aggressive or severely anxious dogs may require alternative handling methods or be referred to a specialist.

• If your dog is found to have fleas or other parasites, an additional fee for flea treatment and sanitation will be charged.
   

3. Pricing and Payment

• All prices are estimates and may vary depending on your dog’s size, coat condition, and grooming needs.

• Final pricing will be discussed during the initial assessment of your dog.

• Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash or card payment methods or as discussed at the time of booking.

 

3.​​ Dogs Health

• Our first concern is for the welfare of your dog so in the event of injury or illness we may call a vet and unless it can be clearly shown that K9 Nose to Tail are liable, all costs in connection with and in the carrying out of this instruction shall be at the owners expense.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.

• Missed appointments or no-shows will incur the full grooming fee.

• If you are running late, please let me know as soon as possible. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
   

5. Liability

• While every effort is made to ensure your dog’s safety and comfort, K9 Nose to Tail is not responsible for injuries or adverse reactions caused by pre-existing conditions, sudden medical issues, or unforeseeable events.

• Grooming of sick or elderly dogs is entirely at owner’s risk.

• Any injuries caused by aggressive behaviour from your dog will be the responsibility of the owner.

• By booking a grooming appointment, you acknowledge and accept that grooming can sometimes result in minor nicks, cuts, or stress, especially in matted or sensitive areas.
   

6. Additional Fees

• Severely matted coats may require additional time and care. An extra fee will apply for de-matting services.

• Dogs requiring extensive handling due to behavioural or health issues may incur additional fees.

• Any additional charges will be discussed and agreed upon before proceeding but may include:

  • Overweight dogs or oversized for the breed

  • Unkept/neglected coats

  • Aggressive, senior, nervous or timid dogs that require additional handling

  •  Fleas and/or ticks

  • Dogs that require additional handling for whatever reason​

7. Photography and Social Media

• K9 Nose to Tail may take photographs of your dog during their grooming session for use on our website, social media, and promotional materials. If you do not wish for your dog’s photo to be used, please let us know in advance.
   

8. Changes to Terms

• K9 Nose to Tail reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated and reflected on our website.

9. GDPR & Data Protection

• In order for us to provide these services, we are required to obtain and store some of your personal information. This information will be stored in accordance with all relevant legislation, will never be shared with any 3rd parties or organisations and will only be used for the purposes of providing the requested or related services.
